UWC Mostar was built in the heart of the Bosnian city Mostar and opened in 2006.

The students are accommodated in residences and hence get the change to show the Mostarian citizens how enriching community life with different religions, cultures and nations can be. 

​

The college's main aim is helping to reconcile the different ethnicities after the Yugoslavian war.
